The following is an email announcement provided by DJ Nightmare:

“…We are pleased to announce that our next event will be on Wednesday, April 7th from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. (3 a.m. if people are still kickin' it after 2) at The Melody Inn. Liberation presents "Living On Video", and features special guest DJ Empress Alyda! That night, Alyda will bring her computer & DVD hookup, and will be playing VIDEOS on the big screen! That night, expect not only to hear the music, but see the music as well!

We are super-excited to welcome this legendary DJ of the Indianapolis Goth/Industrial scene to the decks at Liberation for many reasons, not the least of which is that this will be the first time Alyda and DJ Nightmare have DJed side-by-side at a scene event in more than FIVE YEARS! Old school scenesters will recall that for a year and a half in 2003 and 2004, the two DJs co-hosted Alyda's famed "80's & Beyond" night, which was one of the long-time events that helped define Naptown's alternative scene in the 00's. Now that the two have been reunited, expect them, along with DJ Nightmare's partner in music, DJ Daydream, to blow the roof off the joint!

Remember, Liberation is a boundaries-free night, playing 80's New Wave/Alternative, plus classic and newer EBM, Electronic, Goth, Industrial, & Indie Rock/Dance Rock, and more!”
